'Game Master'
GM is an abbreviation for Game Master. They do not program the game, nor do they update the game. They just monitor the game 24/7*. They can run GM Events within the game and they can also ban users. They are not to be confused for Fake GMs like |wiznizit|.
*It's just 2 hours every 3 days.
Example:
Wiznizit was busily trying to ban over 10,000 reported characters. He got lazy and just banned them all without checking out each of their story or banning them for a real reason either. Noob 1 says 'kan i hav fre itemz?z' Wiznizit replies 'You can a taste of my BanHammer.' Noob 1 says 'plzzzzzz.' Then he was banned for 'Cause Wiznizit felt like it.'
Lesson:
My BanHammer isn't that small.
'Omega Sector'
If you're a fan of the Octopi in Kerning and Sleepywood, and you would love to have hentai made out of it, Omega Sector is the place for you. In there are multiple variations of those Octopi and there's a boss waiting for you too. Also, you can meet tons of weird aliens, the Meso Rangers and Will Smith. It's awesome.
Example:
Wiznizit was proud, in 2007, when Omega Sector finally came out. It looked so new, and so glitchy. So he got disconnected and then banned for 'null' error. Later, he went on his spare account, Bandit, and decided to go around in Omega Sector again. However, he was smashed by a giant Mesozord. Then Will Smith came in screaming 'aw hell naw' and then transformed in a huge monster version of himself. Both the Mesozord and Giant Will Smith began to fight, but they didn't expect the sixth MesoRanger. Wiznizit wondered why Wizet was so influenced by American culture.
Lesson:
Compare the Machine MT-09 to Mushmom. Which would you have sex with? I thought so.
'Pan Lid'
It's late at night, there is no one around. He decides to stalk the Green Mushrooms. For 7 days and 7 nights, he contemplates the meaning of 'annihalation of the Green Mushrooms.' He kills three thousand. He kills another three thousane. Yet, he is unhappy. Everything has dropped for him, except for a Pan Lid. A shield that knows no bounds, it will eat away at your soul until there is nothing left. Soon, you find yourself controlled by a shield that defends you from 3 damage.
Example:
Wiznizit was busy testing out the Pan Lid drop rate. He began killing as many Green Mushrooms as he could. For 2 whole weeks he went insane and took it out on the Wizet Corp. Staff. He was later hospitalized, taken to a mental asylum where he later recovered only to return in 2 days due to not finding a Pan Lid.
Lesson:
Star Pixies are cruel and will only drop 8 defence Pan Lids, hunt the Green Mushrooms.
Wiznizit: Why do I have to TEST a drop rate? Aren't there numbers or something?
HeadGM: Shut up and make me a sandwich.
'Vacuum Hacking'
Hacking is bad, stop it now. Unless you play CMS or TMS as I said before. Those crazy Asians, what will they think of next? Anyway, vacuum hacking is when you use Attract to all the monsters in the map. They'll fall in love with you and come to you on one spot. Then you can pick them off one by one until you feel like you need to sleep. It's hacking, hacking is bad. Stop hacking. Hacker.
Example:
Wiznizit was busily monitoring Drake's Meal Table. He sat there for 5 hours and concluded there was no hacking. At the same time, on the next channel over, baiier was hacking his way to level 109 with over 70 reports of hacking on him. Baiier megaphoned 'GM WIZNIZIT BAN ME NOW LOLOLOLOLOL.' Wiznizit was too busy playing with his Yeti plushie to look at his computer screen.
Lesson:
If Kirby was here, he'd slap you.
'Ludibrium'
One giant advertisement for Lego's new line-up, Ludibrium, is one step further into Maple Story. Ludibrium features a new Party Quest, new monsters that range from cute little toys to giant monsters that would rape those cute little toys, many new items, new quests, and the 100 Floor Eos Tower. Also part of Ludibrium would be the wonderful Omega Sector which I have already defined for all you perverts. There is also the Cloud Terrace, the Toy Factory, the Paths of Time and the Watch Tower.
Example:
Wiznizit had just finished installing the Ludibrium patch, when suddenly, the server crashed in all 20 channels of every world in the Orbis Station map. That had to be taken down for 7 more hours. People were angry. Wiznizit logged back on, only to be crashed again, except this time there was a rollback. Soon, after 3 more years of tinkering, Wiznizit accessed Ludibrium. Then he realized this place sucked and spilled some coffee on the Aqua Road patch database.
Lesson:
If we rush Wizet, not only will we get a new version of Maple Story, we WILL get a new version of Maple Story.

'Summoning Bags'
These bags are obtained either through Bera's Special Event or through Ludibrium Quests. If obtained by the Bera Special Event...

The Black Sack allows the summoner to summon a Jr. Balrog to wreak havoc upon millions of noobs. The other sacks such as, Toy Trojan Sack, Alien Sack, etc. summons lower leveled monsters but it's still pretty fun.
Example:
Wiznizit was AFK in Perion 1. Later, he came back only to find he was killed by a Toy Trojan that was summoned. Angry, he jumped off the Wizet Corp. building only to realize he lost 1%. Then he un-jumped.
Lesson:
"It's like giving a gun to a criminal and say 'Don't shoot!'"
'Stimulators'
No, we aren't going there.
NO MEANS NO.
A stimulator is used when forging a weapon to alter the given weapon/magic attack to as if you had found it from a monster. It could go up a few points, down a few points, not move at all, or be destroyed.
Example:
Wiznizit was busy making his nice Thorns when he decided to use a Stimulator on it. It failed, and he destroyed his Thorns. Always trying, he made another Thorns with a Stimulator and got a Thorns with 0 Magic Attack. And he tried again, only to get a Thorns with 150 Weapon Attack and no Magic whatsoever.

'Maple Society'
A special lesson, just for you. :)
1. Remember when you trade someone in the FM, always sure to say 'u ned dis item i find 4 level 20s even tho u r level 60 kk?' or 'i ofr 30k' when the item is worth over 200k or 'free mesos plz.'
2. Always note, Assassins> Bandits.
3. Pan Lids are old, if you don't get the new shields, you're a noob and people will kill you while you are AFK.
4. When someone says 'cc plz' you change channels. When someone says 'cc' you change channels. When someone says 'cc plz' when there is enough room for 20 people, you change channels. When someone starts KSing you, even if you were there first, you change channels. If you don't change channels, the GM will ban you for harassment.
5. Killing people when they are AFK is cool, just make sure they don't catch you in the act.
6. Fizards are the worst class, ever. Poison sucks. Fire sucks.
7. And always always remember, in this game, everyone is better than you, and they know it.
'Scrolls'
These scrolls can be used to upgrade your armors and weapons with various stats. Sometimes, they are useless like +MP, sometimes, they are extremely nice such as +Weapon Attack. The cost of the really lame scrolls range from 1 meso to 300k. The cost of weapon/+Main Stat scrolls cost up to 5 million each! Only rich people should scroll items.
Example:
Wiznizit was busy testing the Percentage Rate of a 10% Weapon Scroll. Wiznizit kept trying to scroll a Thorns with a 10% Scroll on the first slot. He failed 21 scrolls and Thorns before he got one. Then he failed all 60%'s on it next.
Lesson:
Wiznizit had a chance of around .4% to create a Thorns like that. He's really lucky.
Wiznizit: Don't 10% Scrolls...ya know...have 10% chance of working?
HeadGM: NO.
'Safety Charm'
Wizet's Grand Plan in a Bag
1) Accidentally release a glitch allowing players to obtain infinite amounts of Summoning Bags.
2) Do nothing about it.
3) Make Safety Charms available to the public.
4) Only sell them in packs of 10.
5) Make sure the packs expire in a month, so the player has no chance of using all 10.
6) Overprice the Safety Charms.
7) Hold GM Events and have all the prizes be Black Sacks.
8) Create a contest to whoever loses the most experience in a week. They would win an infinite amount of mesos.
9) For 1.4 seconds.
10) ???
11) Profit.
Example:
Wiznizit was busily testing experience loss rates with varying amounts of LUK. He used his salary to mass purchase Safety Charms to test this. Suddenly, NXGames decides all items with the phrase 'afety Char' in it will be deleted.
Lesson:
Wiznizit shouldn't stockpile Safety Charms.
