'cc plz'
This is one of the most confusing phrases to the new player. It simply means change channels please. However, if you get that phrase at Maple Island, this community has issues.

Example:
Wiznizit was walking along Werewolf Land. Pro 1 says 'wtf y u walk here cc plz defam u!' Wiznizit says 'I was just walking!' Pro 1 defames Wiznizit.

Lesson:
Change channels or prepare to be defamed.

'mass defame'
This is related to the phrase 'cc plz.' It is what happens when you don't change channels. The pro will get many, many people to defame someone because you didn't change channels.

Example:
Wiznizit was quietly attacking Slimes in the Slime Tree. Pro 2 says 'cc plz.' Wiznizit replies 'I was here first though!' Pro 2 then says 'i mas defam u.' Wiznizit lost 42 fame. Now no one will like Wiznizit. Now he will be emo and cry himself to sleep at night.

Lesson:
If you get mass defamed, you'll become emo.

'mass report'
This is the same thing as mass defame, except many people will report you instead to get you banned.

Example:
Wiznizit was on his way to Happyville. Pro 3 comes along and says 'give me mesos or i mas defam.' Wiznizit replies 'I have no obligation to give you anything.' Pro 3 then calls his guild members to report Wiznizit. Wiznizit was later banned for 'Selling NX Cash.'

Lesson:
Happyville isn't a very happy place.

'mesos/free itemz/party plz'
This is something you shouldn't say to high leveled characters. They are provoked easily and might mass defame you. It never works. Ever.

Example:
Wiznizit was just looking around the Free Market. Noob 1 comes along and says 'itemz plz.' Wiznizit replies 'Sorry, just attack monsters 'n stuff.' Noob 1 says 'i hav level 89 mage. i ned moneyes.' Wiznizit then logged off.

Lesson:
Wiznizit gets a lot of random disconnections.

'@@@@ @@@@'
This is something used in Perion 1 to advertise. It makes the text box grow bigger so people can see what they are selling.

Example:
Wiznizit goes along and says 'B> Elixer!' Pro 4 and Noob 2 comes along and spams 'S> Stuff @@@@ @@@@ @@@@ @@@@ @@@@' Wiznizit spent 4 hours trying to buy 100 Elixers to fight Jr. Balrog. He got 2 within those 4 hours.

Lesson:
Elixers aren't very common on the market place.

'KS'
This term, used in many games, stands for Kill Stealing. Do not do that. If someone else Kill Steals you, don't kill steal back as they will just mass defame you with their guild.

Example:
Wiznizit was using Poison Myst in Yeti+Pepe Map. Wiznizit was happily poisoning 6 Yeti+Pepes when a level 124 Crusader came in and kill stealed them all and got 5 Groonhills and 2.4 million mesos. Wiznizit said 'Why did you ks me? Can't you see they were poisoned?' The Crusader replied 'NO U.'

Lesson:
Poison is a horrible skill.

'hax!'
This term declares a cry of Hacking onto the said user. Hacking is bad, don't do it unless you play Chinese Maple Story.

Example:
Wiznizit was using Flash Jump all across the map. Everyone in Perion 1 mass reported him because they thought he was using a jump hack. He was later banned for 'Insulting a GM.'

Lesson:
Flash Jump is cool, too cool for you.

'gm'
GM stands for GameMaster. They control everything. They program everything. They take over Maple Story and run it as if it was a chess game.

Example:
Wiznizit is training busily when suddenly GMDiddy shows up. GMDiddy says 'People have said you have been hacking, is this true?' Wiznizit says no. GMDiddy then says 'I'm sorry, I do not understand what you said.' Wiznizit was banned for swearing.

Lesson:
GMDiddy can't tell the difference between a normal player and a GM.

'scam'
Scam is a monster. It takes on various forms such as 'tab tab space enter' and other slang we will learn much later. It's too advanced for you feeble little mind.

Example:
Wiznizit is using lightning at Lorangs. Another Lightning Mage comes along and says 'DROP CONTEST!!' Wiznizit knows this is a scam. He ignores the Lightning Mage. Wiznizit then got killed by a Jr. Balrog the Lightning Mage summoned.

Lesson:
Black Sacks= Good times.

'tab tab space enter'
This is a phrase used by scammers to get people to automatically trade.

Example:
Wiznizit is in a trade with Mule 1. Mule 1 says 'prez tab tab space enter to duplicat ur itemz.' Wiznizit knows this is a scam so he says 'This is a scam, I'm not stupid.' Mule 1 then reports Wiznizit for scamming. Wiznizit was banned later for 'Advertising.'
